Toronto Regional
Real Estate Board (TRREB) revises 2021 sales and prices forecast upwards
In June 2021, a 28.5 percent increase was reported in the
GTA, compared to June 2020.
The price of detached properties rose by 24.8 percent annually; and 29.4 percent in the '905' area.
In the GTA, the condo
apartment segment also reported its strongest growth with a 57 percent annual increase.

Toronto 3-bedroom condo prices jump $200k in four months
This is thanks to returning city
buyers and a hot single-family market.
Strata, the condo brokerage, reports that in March 2021, the average price of a 3-bedroom condo in
Toronto was $705,140, roughly a $200,000 increase over four months.
This trend also holds for the GTA, with an 11 percent increase
from March 2021.
With falling COVID cases and gradual reopening, people are returning to Toronto for work, work-from-home,
or study, and avoiding long commutes. These three-bedroom units, are attractive to both renters and buyers.
The high costs of a single-family home has been driving higher demand for three-bedroom condo units, as
an alternative for buyers and investors.
